Implants are a routine treatment option to replace missing teeth. However, when there are missing teeth within the smile window, that can pose a challenge when we aim to improve and uplift the entire smile with veneers.
Giving symmetry, while respecting soft tissue harmony and aesthetics to close spaces with veneers can be very challenging.
In such cases prior planning keeping the end result in mind can make a big difference in the final results. Here the patient wanted not only to replace the missing tooth but also wanted an overall upliftment in her smile and aesthetics.
We planned to place an implant to replace the missing tooth while also veneers to help close the gaps on her neighbouring teeth.
The end result was a more harmonious smile, the colour and shapes complemented the patients face, personality and ethnicity.
