This patient was seen at our practice for a cosmetic smile makeover consult as she was due to get married the following year.
After detailed discussions and clinical evaluation with the patient, since we had plenty of time on or hands with the execution, we advised the patient that it would be ideal to first do a course of Invisalign to help push the upper front teeth higher to hence help push the gums higher as with her smile, the show of gums was excessive giving the look of a “gummy smile”.
Once Invisalign was finished, we proceeded with a minor Gum Lift surgery, which is minor trimming of the gum margins to give soft tissue symmetry followed by teeth whitening. Once the course of teeth whitening was completed, we finished off with some composite bonding on the upper 6 teeth only, elevating the finishing off the case with some amazing results and symmetry.
